Social Media Break, CHECK!

Taking a moment to get away from social media is definitely necessary. Social media gives a lot of people a competitive mentality. Everyone is posting their accomplishments, happiness, and success but no one is posting failures. By looking at what everyone is posting, it will make you compare yourself at times. Realistically, comparison kills authenticity. It will degrade, destroy, and remove all that you are, for no purpose at all.

A flower doesn’t look at the next flower to bloom, it does it on it’s on. All of us should learn to let idea of blossoming manifest and we would be great! It’s always helpful to gain inspiration from others, but don’t let yourself develope a need for inspiration. Whatever you’re trying to achieve in life would not be authentic. Live your own lives people. Create your own path and let your creativity flourish on its own. Everything takes times but that’s all we have. In time, we can do amazing things if only we trust and believe in ourselves. I can definitely say, now I understand completely why “patience is a virtue”.

For the past few days, I took a social media break for myself. I got a lot of work done, caught up on many other things instead of focusing on instagram, and allowed ideas of my own to build itself. Being a creative person, comes with many creative ideas. Why not bring my creative ideas to reality, right?

Whenever I’m working on my clients, I have a great time. Usually it feels like I’m with a friend, styling her hair. It’s always a moment of relaxation for me. Fortunately, I absolutely love my job as a Hair Stylist. Furthermore, I’m lucky enough to have great clients.

As a freelance hairstylist, I’m always working with different clients and models for different projects. Each person has a different story and a different background. In such a short time, I gain another perspective. It brings a level of comfort to my clients and allow me to understand people even better. This is super helpful, as I am a business man trying to further build my brand.

Sometimes it’s hard to find a job in which you can love, but when you do it’s an amazing thing. Loving what I do make my job super easy and rewarding. There’s nothing better than seeing a client extremely happy with her hair and taking selfies as soon as you’re done.

Professional brands for your hair is NECESSARY! Usually the professional brands may cost more, but a little goes a long way. There’s honestly a product for every hair type, texture and condition. It may be a journey to find the right products for your hair but its all worth it in the end. With all the hair tools on the market, it’s always best to ask a hair stylist first. Some will go as far as showing you how to use it.

While keeping hair care in mind, research your hairstylist. Make sure you like their aesthetics and that they are experienced. Most experienced Hair Stylist will charge more, however it’s all worth it in the end. You will receive the proper care for your hair, preventing hair damage. Some things will cost you a lot of money to fix, correct or even take a long time to just grow out nicely. Moral of the story, don’t cheap out when it comes to your hair. In 2019 it’s rare to see natural hair that’s flourishing on its own without any chemicals or extensions.
